Medic Malawi musical extravaganza

Over 200 people were in All Saints, Wellington to hear some superb singing and raise over £1,600 for Medic Malawi.

Henry Olonga is a fabulous singer with a glorious tenor voice – one of his biggest regrets is that he did not follow his heart and become a professional singer. In addition to singing he gave some very brief insights into his international cricketing career.

We were lucky to catch Aimee Lake as she is going to be spending 10 months as part of the entertainment team on cruise liners. Aimee balanced Henry's operatic songs with a medley of show songs.

Hadley & District Orpheus Male Voice Choir entertained us with a wide variety of songs, ranging from "African Prayer" to "You'll Never Walk Alone" they also sang with the audience  while the stage cleared ready for Aimee to sing.

The programme, with background on the singers and more information on what they sang is below.

The concert was recorded and DVDs and CDs are available for £5.
